In each 40-minute challenge session Asia will lead you through joint-specific movements, as they’ll be the new piece for your strength training.
In the member vault, you’ll find your detailed gym workout guide + videos, which will also show you how to add these new joint moves into your strength training.
-
The challenge sessions will be very accessible. If you have no major health or mobility issues, you’ll be good to go.
If you have specific limitations, you can message Asia for options.
It’s always best to talk with your team (doctor, physio, whomever you’re working with for your physical health) and have them clear you for what you should and shouldn’t be doing.
-
Definitely not. In fact, if you’ve never stepped into a gym, this is a great way to get started because you’ll get to skip a lot of the ‘trendy’ or faulty training a lot of us learned over the decades, and start with the smartest, simplest movements that bring the best results.
You can watch each video before even leaving your home, and refer back to them anytime to be sure you’re doing them right. And Asia will be available throughout the challenge to support you.
-
God yes. If you haven’t learned joint strength training yet, that alone is worth 10X the price of this challenge. But you’ll also get updated ways to do classic gym movements that’ll make so much sense to you once you learn them.

I’ve certified as a personal trainer, and (more importantly) worked out faithfully for 30 years. I’ve gone through the gamut of fads, approaches, "best practices", injury recovery, etc. and have refined my workouts to what feels great and keeps me fit to live the life I want.
The kind of weight training we’ll do in this challenge isn’t complicated; it's sustainable, and backed by research. It’s focused on building and maintaining joints + bone density, muscle mass, mobility, strength, and energy for decades.
-
For the joint training: Be on a surface (like a yoga mat or cushy carpet) that’s got some padding. It's also handy to have a block or firm cushion, and a hand towel to give you some extra padding for those bony areas or more feedback.
For the workouts: Even the most basic gym will have everything you’ll need. But I’ll also show you how to do the workouts at home. For that, you'll need dumbbells, a pull-up bar* (here’s one; here’s another), and elastic resistance bands. A workout bench would be a bonus.
*Don't worry about needing to be able to do a pull-up! You'll be learning some basics of pulling and hanging, and you'll get lots of options that meet you where you are - including if you've never done a pull-up.
