 FAQs

  • Movement Flow classes are very accessible. We begin with basic movements and build through class to more challenging options, so you can choose how far/hard you go, every class. You’ll need to be able to weight-bear on your hands and knees, and lie on your back and front. If you can do that and have no major health or mobility issues, you’ll be good to go.

It’s always best to talk with your team (doctor, physio, whomever you’re working with for your physical health) and have them clear you for what you should and shouldn’t be doing.

  • Be on a surface (like a yoga mat or cushy carpet) that’s soft/padded. It's also handy to have a block or firm cushion for options I offer, and a hand towel to give you some extra padding for those bony areas or more feedback when we move smaller joints. I do also LOVE to use pens (yes, pens!), so go ahead and have 1-2 of them nearby.

  • When you first log in, you’ll leave your camera on so I can say hi and confirm it's you (someone hasn't piggy-backed your spot). You can leave your camera on or off after that. I only record my window from the live classes, not yours, so go ahead and wear those pjs + crazy bun - it’s your private practice!

  • To make my audio more clear, and so you can play music on better-quality speakers than your computer while practicing, I don’t play my playlist in the background while I teach. Instead, you can play it in your space via the Spotify link I send when you sign up (no syncing necessary).

Hot tip: your best setup if possible is to have me in your ear (with earphones connected to Zoom via bluetooth) and the music playing on a better speaker system in your space.

  • If you have a membership plan that includes live classes, your Zoom link for those classes will have been emailed to you. Once you’ve joined once, Zoom will keep that link info in the dropdown menu they show you after you click to join a session.

Anytime it’s updated, you’ll get a new email with the updated link. Keep that email/link info somewhere handy!

  • Yes! Videos of the live classes are uploaded to the FLOW video vault in the member area no later than 12hrs after each class.

  • No problem, just contact us - happy to help out.

  • The class just flies, because everything flows so perfectly.

  • I am loving the movement classes, Asia! Thank you so much! I re-did Tuesday's class and it was even better the second time. Tuesdays are my favourite day of the week because of your class.

  • This was the first class I’d ever been to where I felt seen. Asia doesn't push me beyond where I’m comfortable — in fact, she encourages me not to. Also, the community is amazing: I love the people who come.

  • After this week's session, I am feeling amazing!! Taller, lighter, and stronger through my core. It's so interesting to bring these movements into my regular practice.

  • Last night's chest/rib stuff was wild!! So cool to experience that feeling and move in that way.

  • I just did last night's class OMG - THE BEST CLASS EVER. You've taken my pain management skills to a whole new level. I resent days when life interferes and I can't get to the video vault. Thank you from the bottom of my now-flexible hips and happier low back.

  • I never miss these classes, Asia. I’m always wowed. Thank you from all of us you've helped.

  • I love your style! I have tried other yoga classes and they were nothing like yours! I love your focus on joint health, your vast knowledge of the human body, how you challenge us each week with new moves and adaptations, how you inspire us with wholistic views on how to live a healthy and happy life, and how you build community in your classes with stories and humour.
